This a very worrying time for us all as it is proving easier to enter lockdown than re-emerge from it. Mark Drakeford has done a wonderful job as our First Minister in cautiously leading the people of Wales through this nightmare. I feel a whole lot safer living in Wales, rather than England under the manic manoeuvring of the nut job from Downing Street.
Below I have copied some of the latest advice for those of us in Wales, including news of an end to shielding for the particularly vulnerable.
The next few months are going to be full of stress and anxiety for many of us as we tread carefully and try to work out our position in the ‘new normal’ society.

Shielding in Wales to be paused from the 16th of August.
The announcement yesterday by the Chief Medical Officer for Wales Dr Frank Atherton has confirmed people in Wales who are shielding will no longer have to do so after the 16th of August.
Key information for those who have been shielding:
– For those receiving weekly food boxes these will remain in place until 16/08/20.
– Volunteer medicine delivery scheme will continue until the end of September.
– Priority food delivery slots will continue for the time being.
