On September the 5th, I was traipsing around Birmingham City Centre searching for fibreglass owls. One I found was number 45: Percy Pertemps by Cathy Simpson.
Cathy Simpson is an illustrator and cartoonist who has spent most of her adult life in the West Midlands. She has illustrated many children’s books, exhibited at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, and been Head of Art at Bromsgrove Hall and Edgbaston High School.
These days, she works purely as a professional artist – and hopes to delight everyone with bright colours and a huge sense of fun!
