On September the 19th, I was rolling around Birmingham City Centre searching for the fibreglass owls that make up The Big Hoot trail. One I found was number 20: Dotty by David Graham.

David Graham teaches art at Holly Lodge Girls’ College in Liverpool and is also a freelance artist/ graphic designer.  He continues to extend his artist practice by using a range of 2D and 3D media to produce his own work, as well as participating in collaborative community projects, to produce works such as murals, mosaics and ‘graffiti knitting’.

In 2009, David staged an exhibition of his pupils’ artwork on ‘The Fourth Plinth’ in Trafalgar Square, as part of Antony Gormley’s ‘One and Other’ project.
