I have now officially completed the London Marathon. It was another achievement by yours truly and I am looking forward to receiving a medal for my efforts. I will of course share pictures of me with my medal as everyone will be waiting with baited breath to see a picture of their favourite amateur athlete. If I could do emojis on this blog, this last paragraph would be littered with laughing faces to highlight my sarcasm.

I will now be continuing my journey along Route 66 and will try to add this to my latest achievement of completing the London Marathon and using my Thera Trainer to ride from John O’ Groats to Lands End.

The End to End website really has changed my life for the better as it really does give you an added incentive to complete your personal challenges. I have good willpower, but every bit of encouragement helps to push me along with the enticement of a medal to aim for at the end of my virtual journey. End to End also have an online community where other participants provide encouragement. I am not part of this vibrant community, but I can see the benefits for more sociable people.

Anyway, that is enough writing for one day as I must find time to continue cycling through New Mexico as I aim to complete another leg of my worldwide adventures.
