End To End: John O’ Groats to Land’s End Virtual Challenge

End To End: John O’ Groats to Land’s End Virtual Challenge

I have just purchased a virtual challenge through the End to End website. I will be able to complete virtual challenges from the comfort of my living room using my Thera Trainer cycling machine.

This website is a fantastic resource that provides motivational tools for and incentives for everyone who is trying to keep fit and healthy in the modern world. I urge all my readers to visit the End to End webpage and read all about how this business idea got off the ground during the dark days of Covid 19.

I will be taking on the John O’ Groats to Land’s End challenge which will include electronic postcards along the journey, and once the challenge has been completed, I will receive a medal and a t shirt.

Of course, my main focus remains completing the 6773km distance from my home to the hotel that I spent my short break in Florida at. I promised to cycle this distance while I was raising money through my GoFundMe page. This is exactly what I will do, but as I am cycling this route – I have currently cycled over 1400km – I will take on some virtual challenges to motivate me towards reaching my goal.

I am also in the process of setting up a JustGiving Page as I will perform these virtual challenges – towards my ultimate goal of reaching Florida – in aid of Ataxia UK. It is about time that I raised money and awareness of the charity that represents and supports people like myself, who live with Ataxia in all its different forms.

When I complete this sponsorship page I will of course share it here on my blog.

It feels good to be raising money and assisting others once again. My own problems rage on  – thanks to certain sections of Wrexham County Borough Council – but I will continue trying to be a responsible and helpful member of the wider society.
