A Blank Canvas

This time of year is always exciting as we are on the precipice of a fresh new year bursting with new opportunities to rectify the wrongs of the previous 12 months.

It is always important to use the no man’s land that exists between Xmas and New Year to plan ahead while the majority of morons search for happiness at the bottom of a beer or wine glass.  This is especially important for disabled people who are often victimised by pen pushers who choose to target the vulnerable while allowing the rich and powerful to get away with their crimes because it is easier to pick on the often defenceless.

This is why some people make the mistake of treating all disabled people the same.  I am proud to be a disabled activist and I have launched a petition with the Senedd on behalf of all disabled people in Wales.  This can be seen by clicking on this paragraph and I urge everyone to sign it.

I will keep my powder dry for another day in my continued fight for justice against the Adult Social Care department at Wrexham CBC.

2023 did bring one positive – the release of my third book Dirty Old Town: Wrexham AFC in the Football League, 1921-2008.  I am immensely proud of this book that has been produced and promoted over an exhausting 8 year period, without any support whatsoever  from the club. Make of this what you will, while clicking here to order a copy of your own while stocks last…

There has been many high points to 2023 revolving around my book and an aspect of my personal life that I won’t go into right now. The future looks bright, but as always I will just have to beat off the pesky irritants who want nothing more than to watch and laugh while I spend the rest of my days rotting in my council bungalow.

Anyone who knows me will believe me when I say that this is not going to happen….
