Over the coming weeks, I will be adding a match programme for each of the games that I have focused on in Dirty Old Town.

This is the programme from the League Division Three match against Rotherham United at the Racecourse on 22-04-78. The game ended with a 7-1 win for Wrexham.

I wasn’t there. Almost four decades later I only have a dog-eared programme and a video cassette of poor-quality images – that seem to have been shot from the moon – to remind me that the game really did happen.
