Over the coming weeks, I will be adding a match programme for each of the games that I have focused on in Dirty Old Town.

This is the programme from the European Cup Winner’s Cup Quarter Final (2nd leg) match against Anderlecht at the Racecourse on 17-03-76. The game ended 1-1.

It is time to try something different for this chapter. In circa 2007, I had the opportunity to interview several Wrexham legends for a project I was working on. This chapter contains the words of our flame-haired striker Billy Ashcroft who is discussing our European Cup Winners Cup campaign of 1975/76 with particular focus on the games against Anderlecht.

The chapter goes on to summarise the match against Anderlecht and our season in full as each chapter in Dirty Old Town does. This creates the ideal gift for all true Wrexham fans.
