I have just returned from a funeral for a much loved comrade in Jane Smith. It was a moving ceremony that Jane would of been proud of and her dear friend Julie Adams gave a tremendously fitting eulogy. I was humbled that the campaign to save the Welsh Independent Living Grant was mentioned as something Jane was passionate about and this has given me and fellow campaigners even greater determination to succeed in her memory.

A beautiful person both inside and out, Jane will be missed by us all.
