On September the 14th, I was travelling around South Birmingham searching for the fibreglass owls that make up The Big Hoot trail. One I found was number 79: Showldon by Milan Topalovic.

Milan Topalovic is a Birmingham-born illustrator residing in a ‘nest’ not far from Cadbury World. He was a winner in the Best of British Illustration 2012 publication and was awarded an Emerging Talent commendation at the Cheltenham Illustrations Awards, 2011.
He has been recognised for his work in children’s stories, fashion illustration, portraiture and record sleeve design. Milan regularly exhibits work in Birmingham – so look out for his next exhibition.
